
On July 17th and 18th, 2025, TechX, in partnership with AWS, co-hosted the specialized workshop titled "Enhancing Public Sector Experience with GenAI". The event brought together government agency leaders, public sector managers, and technology experts to exchange insights and explore practical GenAI solutions for building a citizen-centric, intelligent digital government.
Elevating Public Services with GenAI
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, public service organizations and agencies face various challenges, from navigating limited resources and complex administrative processes to contending with citizens' increasingly high expectations for transparent, swift, and personalized services. In this situation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Generative AI (GenAI), is emerging as a strategic tool, helping these organizations reshape operations, boost management efficiency, and deliver superior user experiences. Far more than just a technological trend, GenAI offers a comprehensive transformation opportunity through its powerful capabilities that automate processes, simplify administrative procedures, and expand data analysis, leading to more timely and accurate decision-making.

The event commenced with a powerful keynote speech by Mr. Tran Duc Truong, Senior Partner Account Manager, AWS Worldwide Public Sector Vietnam, in which he captivated the audience by showcasing real-world examples of how AWS-powered AI technologies are empowering public agencies in Singapore, such as GovTech Singapore, National Library Singapore, and AI Singapore, to overcome complex challenges. Moreover, he specifically delved into the common pain points faced by public sector organizations, then demonstrated how leveraging cutting-edge AWS AI technologies provides innovative solutions, ultimately leading to significant positive impacts on their operations and the citizens they serve.
Beyond specific use cases, the expert also introduced the extensive AWS technology ecosystem, ranging from Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Internet of Things (IoT) to Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Diving deeply into this comprehensive suite of services, he also highlighted the benefits of leveraging these technologies to build highly scalable and resilient infrastructures, develop intelligent applications, and drive innovation that directly benefits the public. This helps form a powerful foundation for digital transformation, enabling governments to not only streamline their administrative operations but also to deliver more responsive, transparent, and personalized services to their citizens.

The seminar also featured a compelling demo section led by Mr. Duy Doan, GenAI Lead at TechX Corporation, and Mr. An Tran, AI Engineer. They showcased how the RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) framework is being applied to common use cases in public services, enhancing daily operations and citizen interactions. This powerful framework is specifically designed for enterprise-specific, accurate, and secure information retrieval and generation.
By demonstrating the power of TechX RAG framework capability, the two experts emphasized its ability to access and understand complex internal organizational knowledge. Built upon a methodical architecture, it involves preparing and standardizing an organization's internal document sources, preprocessing this data through text chunking, building a robust knowledge base in a vector store, and then choosing an appropriate AI model for retrieval. This approach ensures that responses are derived directly from the organization's trusted and secure internal data, addressing critical concerns around data privacy, security, and accuracy that are paramount for public sector agencies.

With over 50 senior delegates from government agencies, universities, and public institutions, the seminar served as an open forum for our seasoned experts and distinguished delegates to exchange valuable insights and discuss how to leverage Generative AI to modernize administrative systems and improve the quality of public services.
The event concluded with a highly interactive Q&A session, where delegates' concerns and questions were thoroughly addressed by TechX and AWS experts. This dynamic exchange provided public sector leaders with solid answers, proven methodologies, and best practices, equipping them to confidently navigate the complexities of AI adoption.
